ColourHouse Collective is a full-service creative agency based in Southern Ontario, built specifically for CPG brands. We work with consumer product brands at every stage! From founders launching their first SKU to growing teams ready to scale, helping them build a brand presence that's strategic, consistent, and built to perform.
We're not a generalist agency that takes on everyone.
We know the CPG space, we understand what it takes to make a product stand out online, and we bring together photography, brand strategy, and content creation under one roof so our clients never have to start the conversation from scratch.
Why we built this
ColourHouse was founded in 2023, and like most things worth building, it started with a feeling that something was missing.
After years of freelancing with CPG brands, Aleesha kept running into the same problem: brands needed more than a photographer. They needed someone who understood their product, their audience, and their goals, and could build creative that actually moved the needle. Most agencies weren't filling that gap. So she and David decided to build one that would.
But honestly? 2023 was also a year that made us think hard about what we wanted to leave behind. We lost people we loved that year, people who were young, and gone too soon. It made us reflective. It made us ask the kinds of questions you don't always let yourself ask: What are we building? Who is it for? Will it last?
ColourHouse is our answer to those questions. It's built to be bigger than one person's schedule, one season's workload, or one chapter of our lives. It's built to grow with our clients, to outlast the hustle, and to be something we're genuinely proud of — for our community, our clients, and our family.
That's the intention behind everything we do here.
Aleesha graduated from Mohawk College's Creative Photography Still + Motion program in Hamilton, Ontario in 2019, and went straight to work. Within her first year of freelancing she had landed her first major contract with Yeouth Skincare, followed by Gleow Skincare in 2021.
Over the next few years she built a reputation in the CPG space for product photography that was polished, intentional, and brand-aware: the kind of work that makes a product look exactly as good as it actually is.
That hands-on time shooting real consumer products, understanding what makes a label photograph well, how lighting shifts the perception of a skincare brand versus a food brand, what a CPG founder actually needs from a shoot day, is the foundation ColourHouse is built on. Aleesha doesn't just direct the creative. She understands it from the inside out.
When she's not behind the camera or in a strategy session, she's probably researching what's next in CPG, scouting locations, or convincing David that they need one more prop.
David brings the structure to Aleesha's creative. With a background in business, finance, and marketing from Mohawk College, and hands-on experience in the finance industry, he's the reason ColourHouse runs as smoothly as it looks.
But David is more than the business side of the house. He's genuinely creative, with a deep appreciation for visual design, fashion, music production, and the details that make a brand feel considered. He understands that great creative and great business thinking aren't opposites. At ColourHouse, they're the same thing.
His goal with every client relationship is simple: make it easy. From the first discovery call to the final delivery, David makes sure nothing falls through the cracks, so clients can focus on their brand, not the logistics.
